Lately a few of our close friends in the blogging community have posted about feeling the loss of our community.  We too have felt it.  We started mysexlifewithlola back in March of 2011.  2011!!!  We can’t believe it.  When we started, somehow – either we found them or they found us – we became part of a blogging family that supported each other and knew each others’ business in a good way.  We, new at this as we were, just thought that that community was around for a while and we were the new arrivals, but it turns out that most of our tight-knit group had all started around the same time.  That group included:

And, of course, the ringmistress who brought us all together (as a number of you have noted recently), Gillian.

Connecting with me like this is ok too.

Unfortunately, when Gillian moved on (for lots of reasons), our group came a bit unraveled.  Three Cheers to Hy for her Boobday incentive to remain connected.  She has done a lot to keep us all connected.  Speaking for us, one thing that really took us out of the loop was the censorship exercised by WordPress when they shut us down.  As we’ve told many of you through e-mail, we no longer can comment on other WP blogs which means that we can’t publicly encourage or show our enthusiasm for all of you great bloggers out there.  It also means that others can’t see that we’re actively reading what you write, so they have no idea we’re part of the circle.

In order to combat all this disconnection, we invite you readers (old and new) to comment here by (Throwback) Thursday.  Just drop us a line saying ‘hi’ or let us know that you’re still in our loop.  Invite others to cum to your blogs.  And generally, try to make this more connected for everyone.  If you’re new and you have a blog or a Tumblr or whatever, let us know.  If you’re one of the “ole timers,” tell us what you’re up to – maybe we have lost touch.  If you’re a fan – check out all the people listed above and (especially for the ones who haven’t blogged in a long time) tell them you want MORE from them!!!  We sure do.
